A low-intensity explosion occurred near the army cantonment boundary wall in Amritsar's Khasa, as confirmed by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav. The blast happened on Tuesday night without causing injuries.
DGP Yadav suggested Pakistan's ISI might be behind the incident, labeling it as part of a strategy to destabilize Punjab on the Operation Sindoor anniversary. Two explosions, one in Jalandhar and another in Amritsar, stoked concerns and political reactions.
Security and forensic teams are thoroughly investigating these incidents. An FIR has been filed, and investigations continue in coordination with army officials and police forces, striving to secure the state by finding those responsible.
