The two leaders emphasized new initiatives focusing on critical minerals and rare earths, alongside energy cooperation, aiming to bolster economic security and strengthen the resilience of their supply chains. This move is part of the upgraded 'enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership' between the two nations.
Trade between India and Vietnam surpassed $16 billion in the fiscal year ending in March 2026, marking a significant milestone in their economic relations and setting the stage for future growth.
