Honoring the Pillars of Peace: Manipur's Salute to Security Forces

Speaking at the Governor's Unit Citation 2026 ceremony, Bhalla praised the courage and dedication of the armed forces and their continuous efforts to ensure peace.

The Governor's Citations were awarded to outstanding units of the Army, Assam Rifles, CRPF, BSF, BRTF, and Manipur district police for their exemplary service. Bhalla emphasized the collective excellence and teamwork that these units demonstrate, noting that their disciplined conduct has bolstered public confidence and aided in the return of normalcy.

Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh emphasized the critical role of security forces in maintaining order and called for public cooperation to strengthen community bonds.
