Reports confirm that 21-year-old Puja Swain was hacked to death during a dharna outside her in-law's home, demanding rights for her daughter. The brutal attack occurred in the Hinjili area, fueling public outrage and calls for immediate arrest and punishment of the culprits.
Patnaik stressed the need for state intervention to protect the child who witnessed the crime. Meanwhile, State Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan insists that the government is already taking serious steps to address the grim crime and ensure justice for Swain.
