The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a patwari, Pramod Samariya, in the Kotputli-Behror district for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 40,000, authorities disclosed on Wednesday.

Director General of Police, ACB, Govind Gupta, noted that Samariya was caught red-handed by the ACB's Bhiwadi unit. The case revolves around a prolonged land partition dispute involving an ancestral property, ongoing for over five years in an SDM court.

The court had ordered a report on June 20, 2025, which Samariya delayed, allegedly demanding a Rs 1 lakh bribe. After verifying the complaint on April 29, the ACB enticed the accused into accepting the first Rs 40,000 instalment, leading to his arrest.
