In a significant drug bust, Bengaluru Customs officials intercepted three individuals at Kempegowda International Airport arriving from Bangkok on Wednesday.
The passengers were found in possession of 12.96 kg of hydroponic ganja, a find valued at Rs 4.53 crore, hidden in their check-in baggage, according to authorities.
Currently under investigation, the suspects face charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, as officials work to unearth further details about the smuggling operation.
