In a significant crackdown, police have dismantled an illegal firearm manufacturing unit and arrested four individuals. The operation was conducted in Khardauni village under the Incholi police station area, where authorities discovered a large quantity of weapons and equipment.
During the raid, law enforcement officials recovered numerous finished and semi-finished country-made pistols, along with barrels, cartridges, and other tools associated with the illegal trade. The individuals arrested have been named as Imran, Kuldeep, Narendra, and Umang Thakur.
Imran is alleged to be the mastermind, while Kuldeep took on the role of main supplier. Narendra handled deliveries and mediation, with Umang Thakur alias Deva reportedly supplying to end-users. Police are actively investigating to uncover the full extent of the arms trafficking network, aiming to bring more perpetrators to justice.
