Notorious Gang Member Captured: The Fall of Rakesh Alias Tinku

The Delhi Police have successfully arrested Rakesh alias Tinku, a notorious member of the Jyoti Baba gang, who was wanted in connection with a murder case. His arrest followed a meticulous operation in West Delhi after the accused absconded during interim bail.
Rakesh was captured following a court-issued non-bailable warrant for his involvement in a murder case, alongside charges of rioting and criminal intimidation. During his arrest, police recovered a semi-automatic Beretta pistol and live cartridges.
The 32-year-old has a history of criminal activities, including the 2022 murder of Ram Niwas in Tihar Jail, among other offences like robbery and illegal possession of arms. Further investigations are currently underway.
