In the aftermath of the Kerala Assembly elections, Pinarayi Vijayan, the former Chief Minister and CPI(M) Politburo member, has publicly acknowledged his party's unexpected defeat.
Congratulating the UDF on their victory, Vijayan called the election results a stepping stone for the Left Democratic Front (LDF) to rebuild public trust. He emphasized that the LDF will continue to strive for the welfare of the people, democracy, and secularism in Kerala.
