Five members of a family, including three minor children, were killed on Friday after their motorcycle was hit by a truck in the Kotwali Dehat area here, police said. The incident occurred near Bhansoli when the victims were returning home from Khurja on a motorcycle. ''The victims were immediately rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared them dead. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination,'' the SSP said. According to the police, the truck's number plate, registered in Haryana, was recovered from the accident site. Following this, a massive search operation has been launched to track down the offending vehicle and its driver. ''We are tracking the vehicle using the recovered number plate.
