Rwanda Invites India to NEISA 2026 Summit on Nuclear Innovation and Emerging Technologies

In a significant diplomatic and technological outreach reflecting deepening India-Africa cooperation, Rwanda has invited India to participate in the prestigious Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa (NEISA 2026), scheduled to be held in Kigali from May 18–21, 2026.
The invitation was personally conveyed by Rwanda’s High Commissioner to India, Ms Jacqueline Mukangira, during her meeting with Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, and Minister of State for PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh, in New Delhi.
The invitation was extended on behalf of the Government of Rwanda, including Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and Innovation, Hon. Paula Ingabire, underscoring India’s growing global influence in advanced technologies, nuclear innovation and sustainable development partnerships.
