One-hour special self-enumeration drive for Census held in Ranchi

This will be followed by housing listing and housing census field operations from May 16 to June 14, during which enumerators will visit households across Jharkhand to collect data directly. Around 76,000 enumerators and supervisors have been deployed across the state for the exercise. The first phase will cover 33 questions related to housing conditions, family details, household amenities and assets. The second phase of Census 2027 is scheduled between February 9 and February 28 next year. It will focus on population enumeration, collecting demographic, socio-cultural and economic data, along with migration and reproductive details of family members.
