MEA Dispels Evacuation Rumors Amid West Asia Turmoil

The Ministry of External Affairs dismissed reports suggesting an evacuation of Indian workers through Fujairah port as false. During a briefing, MEA spokesman Randhir Jaiswal stated unequivocally that there are no such plans, urging the public to disregard such baseless reports.

The MEA's fact-check team took to social media to label the evacuation report as 'fake news,' asserting that no evacuation is being contemplated. Citizens were advised to remain vigilant against misinformation regarding Indian nationals in the UAE.

Addressing upcoming diplomatic events, Jaiswal highlighted the BRICS foreign ministers meeting set in New Delhi, with participation from member and partner countries. He reinforced India's advocacy for diplomacy in resolving West Asian conflicts.
