A youth, aged 19, has been apprehended by Indore police on accusations of murdering a man amidst a heated dispute regarding a gaming loan. This revelation was conveyed by Superintendent of Police (Rural) Rajendra Kumar Verma in a recent briefing.

The deceased, identified as Sameer Patel, age 32, was discovered dead within the Betma police station's jurisdiction on May 7. Following a tip-off, authorities detained Ramzan Patel, who allegedly admitted to the crime during police interrogation.

Police investigations revealed an online gaming-related financial altercation between Sameer and Ramzan, with the latter reportedly owing Rs 3 lakh after already repaying Rs 7 lakh out of an initially lost Rs 10 lakh. The conflict allegedly escalated to violence, leading to Sameer's death, as investigators probe further into their gaming history through mobile records.
