Suspended SI Arrested for Alleged Sexual Harassment

A police sub-inspector, previously suspended, was apprehended on Wednesday on charges of sexually harassing a woman, authorities reported.
The woman accused the SI of deceitfully promising marriage as part of his misconduct, leading her to file a complaint which resulted in his arrest.
The case was officially recorded at the Kukatpally police station. The SI had been assigned to Kallur police station prior to his suspension, according to a senior police official.
