Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made a significant move on Wednesday by transferring Rs 1,835 crore into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under the 'Ladli Behna' financial assistance scheme for women.

This marked the 36th installment under the scheme, and the transfer was made during a program held in Mungwani, Narsinghpur district. With a single click, Yadav facilitated the fund transfer to over 1.25 million beneficiaries. Concurrently, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 40 development projects valued at Rs 296 crore.

The chief minister took this opportunity to criticize the opposition, particularly the Congress, for underestimating the scheme as an electoral gimmick and highlighted the BJP's sustained efforts to empower women. He underscored his party's commitment to fulfilling promises and securing victories in states like Assam and West Bengal, attributing success to the support of women across the nation.
