During a BRICS meeting in New Delhi, tensions flared as Iran's Foreign Minister accused the United Arab Emirates of direct military involvement against Iran, according to the Iranian semi-official Mehr news agency.
The minister, in an appeal for unity, chose not to directly name the UAE in his formal statement. However, he later asserted that the UAE played a significant role in the aggression against Iran.
The minister further criticized the UAE for failing to issue a condemnation when the attacks commenced, an omission that has seemingly escalated diplomatic tensions between the two nations.
