A tragic event unfolded in Mumbai's Goregaon area when Bhimraj Omprakash Sharma allegedly murdered Vikas Ashok Bhusare, rumored to be his wife's lover. The violent incident occurred during a drinking session at Sharma's residence in the Aarey locality, according to police reports on Thursday.
Sharma reportedly invited Bhusare over, along with his wife, for drinks. During the session, he purportedly warned Bhusare to cease contact with his wife. Ignoring the warning, Sharma later attacked Bhusare, fatally slitting his throat in his wife's presence, police officials confirmed.
Following the attack, Sharma fled into the adjacent forest area but was captured after a three-hour chase conducted by the police. Authorities revealed that Bhusare had previously been accused of harassing Sharma's wife. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
