High Court Declares Bhojshala Complex as Hindu Temple

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ruled in favor of the Hindu community, declaring the Bhojshala complex as a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. This decision overturns a 2003 order by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) that had permitted Muslims to offer prayers at the site every Friday.
Jitendra Singh 'Vishen', one of the petitioners, filed a caveat in the Supreme Court through his lawyer, Barun Kumar Sinha, ensuring that no orders would be passed on any potential appeal against the high court's decision without providing his party an opportunity to be heard.
The high court suggested that the Muslim community, which refers to the site as the 'Kamal Maula Mosque', could request land from the Madhya Pradesh government to build a separate mosque elsewhere in the district.
