Tragic Collapse at Krishna Brick Kiln in Nepal
An Indian national and two Nepali citizens were killed in a tragic accident at Krishna Brick Kiln in Nepal's Sarlahi district. The incident occurred when a stack of bricks collapsed, also injuring two other workers. Rescue operations were conducted, and an investigation is underway.
A tragic accident at a brick kiln in Nepal claimed the lives of three individuals, including an Indian national, on Friday. The incident transpired at the Krishna Brick Kiln Industry in Sarlahi district's Haripur municipality.
Authorities report the accident occurred as laborers were engaged in removing bricks from a large pile, which suddenly collapsed, leading to the fatalities of 35-year-old Angad Kumar from Uttar Pradesh and Nepali nationals Fitai Mansur, aged 50, and Shambhu Raut, aged 35. The three succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at a provincial hospital.
Two additional workers sustained injuries and are currently under medical care in Malangawa with stable conditions. Police, along with local residents, conducted rescue operations at the site. An active investigation is being pursued by the authorities to ascertain further details regarding the mishap.
