A tragic incident occurred in Telangana's Mahabubnagar district, as a 21-year-old woman succumbed to a brutal knife attack. The perpetrator, a 30-year-old man, launched the assault after his romantic overtures were rebuffed by the victim.

The horrific event transpired in Jadcherla when the woman was disembarking from an autorickshaw. Despite being rushed to a hospital, she was pronounced dead. The accused, who had known the victim from a previous work association at a private school, had reportedly been unable to accept her refusal.

Following the attack, the assailant was beaten by onlookers before being taken to a government hospital in critical condition. Police investigations continue as the community grapples with the shocking loss.
