A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to delve into serious allegations of dowry harassment implicating a former judge and his son, a Bhopal-based lawyer, following the suspicious death of Twisha Sharma.
Sharma, who initially met Samarth Singh via a dating app and married him in December 2025, was found dead at her residence. Multiple police teams are actively working to arrest the accused Samarth Singh, alongside his father and retired judge Giribala Singh, under the dowry death and harassment provisions outlined by Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
With Twisha's family accusing the in-laws of murder, the investigation takes a complex turn as the SIT vows to explore every angle, including dowry harassment, physical assault, and attempts to destroy evidence.
