High-Speed Chase in Jhunjhunu Leads to Police Injuries

In a dramatic turn of events in Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan, a vehicle chase ended with two police personnel injured after their car crashed into a tree. The chase began when a suspect vehicle suddenly fled from a police checkpoint during routine early morning patrol.
Nawalgarh Station House Officer (SHO) Ajay Singh and driver Bhiwaram were both injured in the accident. The injured officers were immediately taken to the district hospital, with Bhiwaram later transferred to Sikar due to more serious injuries. SHO Singh remains under medical care.
The local Superintendent of Police, Kavendra Singh Sagar, visited the hospital to assess the situation, stating the chase occurred as the suspect vehicle avoided inspection. A search operation for the escaped car is now underway as police intensify their investigation.
