Man arrested for raping mentally challenged woman in Rajasthan's Nagaur
A man, Bhom Singh alias Shimbhu Singh, has been arrested in Rajasthan for allegedly raping and assaulting a mentally challenged woman after a months-long manhunt.

Rajasthan Police in Nagaur on Thursday arrested a man for allegedly raping and assaulting an mentally challenged woman, officials said on Thursday.
The accused, Bhom Singh alias Shimbhu Singh, had been absconding for several months and was arrested by a team from Panchori police station, they said.
According to SP Roshan Meena, the victim's mother had lodged a complaint on January 3 alleging that the accused assaulted and raped her intellectually weak daughter.
Following registration of the case, police teams conducted raids at multiple locations, including Panchori, Karanu, Khinvsar and Jodhpur, in search of the accused.
The accused was eventually apprehended from the Panchori area, the police said.
Further investigation is underway.
