A court has handed life sentences to four individuals found guilty of killing a fruit vendor in 2017. The verdict was delivered by Judge Shivanand of the Fast Track Court-I on Tuesday, who also ordered each convict to pay a fine of Rs 10,000, as noted by Chandrabhan, the Additional District Government Counsel.
The prosecution's case was built on a complaint from Rahisa, the mother of the victim, Shanu. She reported that her son, while selling fruits by a culvert, was fatally shot by Babloo, Hasrat, Hamid, and Shama on April 1, 2017. Rahisa's statement mentioned threats her son had received prior to the tragic incident.
