The AAP leader, Jaipal Singh Bau, had a known dispute with Tajinderpal Singh regarding parking issues. The altercation escalated on Thursday, resulting in a violent confrontation and gunfire. Doctors have stated that Jaipal, initially in critical condition, is now stable after undergoing emergency surgery.
In the incident, both Bau and another individual were wounded, and both parties are receiving medical care with plans for arrest upon recovery.
Bau is recognized as an ally of Inderbir Singh Nijjar, the AAP MLA from Amritsar South.
