Amritsar AAP Official Hospitalized After Gunfight Over Parking Dispute

A violent confrontation over parking issues in Amritsar led to an Aam Aadmi Party leader and his ex-policeman neighbor exchanging gunfire. This incident resulted in serious injuries to the AAP leader, Jaipal Singh Bau, who oversees Ward No 42 in Amritsar Municipal Corporation.
Police revealed that the dispute between Bau and Tajinderpal Singh, a former police officer, originated from ongoing parking disagreements. On Thursday, their argument turned physical, culminating in a gunfight where Bau was critically injured and required emergency surgery. Another individual at the scene also suffered gunshot wounds. Authorities have stated that both parties involved are receiving medical care and will face arrest following their discharge.
Medical professionals have now confirmed that Bau's condition has stabilized. Both involved individuals will be legally detained as soon as they recover. Bau is known to have connections with Inderbir Singh Nijjar, an AAP legislator from Amritsar South.
