During a visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Swiss Ambassador to India Maya Tissafi engaged in discussions with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to assess potential collaborations for development. The meeting centered on sustainable tourism, vocational training, and eco-friendly practices in agriculture and food processing as key areas.
Both leaders underlined the contribution of best practices towards the region's socio-economic development. Abdullah discussed the government's goal of incorporating innovative and sustainable strategies into regional planning frameworks to boost employment and improve quality of life.
