The bail plea hearing for Nida Khan, implicated in a case concerning allegations of sexual harassment and forced religious conversion at the TCS Nashik unit, has been postponed to June 12 by a local court. The accused, arrested and in judicial custody since May 11, was due for a hearing on May 30.
Additional Sessions Judge K G Joshi announced the new date. Alongside Khan, bail hearings for Danish Sheikh and Tausif Attar are scheduled for the same day. The Maharashtra government constituted a special investigation team after multiple women at the IT giant's Nashik office accused individuals of psychological and religious coercion.
FIRs have been registered at the Deolali Camp and Mumbai Naka police stations, including accusations against several people. Khan allegedly pressured employees in a WhatsApp group to adopt certain practices aligned with Islamic traditions. TCS has maintained a strict policy against harassment, suspending those implicated.
