A tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh has resulted in the death of a 17-year-old girl, allegedly at the hands of her maternal uncle and stepbrother. The accused reportedly took this extreme step because they disapproved of her frequent phone conversations with boys, according to police statements.

The victim, identified as Sania from Humayun Nagar, was discovered in a mango orchard, following an investigation led by Superintendent of Police Vinayak Gopal Bhosale. The police have arrested her uncle Sartaj, while they continue to search for her stepbrother Shoaib.

Authorities used CCTV footage and additional evidence to piece together the events leading up to the incident, which has shocked the local community. A complaint lodged by Sania's father has resulted in a formal police case against the accused under relevant legal statutes. The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to bring all involved to justice.
