Tragic Accident at Maharashtra's Ordnance Factory
A 21-year-old worker, Vasim Khan, tragically died after falling from a crane lift at the Ordnance Factory in Ambernath, Maharashtra. An investigation is underway into the accident.

A 21-year-old worker died after falling from a crane lift while carrying out repair work at the Ordnance Factory in Ambernath town of Maharashtra's Thane district, police said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred on Monday in the MPF section of the factory premises, said an Ambernath police station official.
The deceased, identified as Vasim Khan, was engaged in fixing a net for the installation of tin sheets at the site when the accident occurred.
''He was working from a crane lift during the repair work. He apparently lost control and fell down from the lift attached to the crane,'' the police officer said.
Khan suffered grievous injuries in the fall and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him ''brought dead'', the official said.
An accidental death report has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
