In a visit to New Delhi, Pramod Sawant, the head of Goa, held talks with Sarbananda Sonowal, the Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The discussions centered on enhancing Goa's maritime infrastructure, a priority for the Modi government aiming to boost coastal areas' contribution to national progress.

"We've evaluated numerous strategies to enhance the maritime infrastructure of our stunning coastal state," Sawant shared on social media, expressing dedication to utilizing the state's coastal advantages for India's growth. This meeting was part of a larger itinerary that included consultations with key figures like Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
