In a significant development, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma applauded the Indian armed forces for 'Operation Sindoor' with the patriotic salute 'Jai Hind'. The operation was aimed at terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including areas linked with Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Taking to social media platform 'X', Sarma celebrated the Indian military's successful strike with a graphic poster and emphasized the pride and honor brought by the Indian Army, showcasing a video of fighter jets and air force staff in action.
The strikes, believed to be a powerful response to the Pahalgam terror attack, targeted nine identified sites and resulted in significant disruption of terrorist bases, reaffirming India's resolute stance against terrorism.
