Wednesday witnessed a groundbreaking military operation as India launched 'Operation Sindoor,' striking deep into Pakistani territory to dismantle terrorist infrastructure. The Indian armed forces targeted nine terror sites in a strategic move aimed at crippling bases that have long been used by groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor commended the government's approach, emphasizing the precision of the strikes which exclusively targeted terrorist bases, avoiding civilian areas. He noted the significance of the operation in maintaining a responsible stance that focuses on infrastructure rather than individuals.

The operation operated under stringent guidelines to minimize collateral damage, aligning with India's wider diplomatic efforts. Co-presenters Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri detailed the methodical selection of targets to protect civilians, with Singh confirming the successful destruction of the terror camps.
