Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara emphasized the need for national unity, declaring Congress's support for the government's action to dismantle Pakistan's terror infrastructure.
Parameshwara stressed that national security is paramount, urging all parties to voice unanimous support for these measures. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor praised the government's precision strikes on terrorist bases, highlighting efforts to avoid conflict escalation and minimize civilian harm.
Operation Sindoor, implemented by the Indian Armed Forces, saw the targeting and destruction of nine terrorist sites. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh reported that the locations were carefully chosen to spare civilian infrastructure, showcasing India's targeted response aimed solely at dismantling terror networks. The operation marks India's deepest foray into Pakistani territory since 1971.
