India Strikes Back: Operation Sindoor Unveiled to Global Powers

India has engaged with key global powers to explain its recent military action against nine terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir. This action was in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, according to informed sources.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar communicated with counterparts in Germany, Japan, France, and Spain, emphasizing that India's strikes were a response to terrorism rooted in Pakistan. Meanwhile, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval reached out to counterparts from the US, China, the UK, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, stressing that India had no intention to escalate tensions but is ready to respond firmly if Pakistan escalates the situation.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri further briefed 13 UN Security Council members on the situation, underscoring the targeted and measured nature of India's military action, aligning with the UN's stance on terrorism. The operation aimed at prominent terrorist facilities in Pakistan, reinforcing India's zero-tolerance policy on cross-border terrorism.
