In a coordinated attack, the Indian Armed Forces effectively countered Pakistan's attempts to target key military locations across Northern and Western India using drones and missiles. The operation was confirmed by officials on Thursday.
Among the targets were strategic areas such as Awantipura, Srinagar, and Jammu. The Integrated Counter Unmanned Aircraft System played a crucial role in neutralizing these threats, according to the defense ministry.
In retaliation, Indian forces targeted and destroyed Pakistani air defense systems, including one in Lahore. Meanwhile, heightened artillery exchanges have resulted in significant casualties, underscoring rising tensions along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
