In a significant all-party meeting, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced that Operation Sindoor has resulted in the elimination of at least 100 hardcore terrorists and their associates. The meeting underscored a concerted national effort, with opposition parties uniting in support of the government's decisive military action against terrorist threats emanating from Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.
During the meeting, political leaders across the spectrum reiterated their commitment to stand together during this critical time. Singh emphasized that India seeks peace but is prepared to respond firmly if provoked by Pakistan. Despite the prevailing tensions, the minister refrained from sharing detailed technical information about the ongoing operation.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, along with other opposition leaders, expressed solidarity with the government, while highlighting the importance of safeguarding national security. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju reinforced the maturity and responsibility demonstrated by leaders, and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi called for international actions against terrorist groups.
