The Rajasthan Congress has raised concerns over the apparent involvement of US President Donald Trump in the recent India-Pakistan ceasefire. During a press conference, state party chief Govind Singh Dotasra questioned why the Indian government accepted Trump's intervention and asked for clarity from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dotasra criticized Trump's social media post about the ceasefire, highlighting the shame in equating India with Pakistan, which he claims supports terrorism. He emphasized India's long-standing policy of not allowing third-party mediation in its bilateral issues, including Kashmir.
In domestic political matters, Dotasra also raised concerns about the delay in canceling BJP MLA Kanwarlal Meena's assembly membership despite his conviction being upheld. He criticized the difference in swift action against Rahul Gandhi and warned of legal action if no decision is made.
