The Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, R Ashoka, has announced a significant state-wide initiative by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)—the 'Tiranga Yatra.' Scheduled to commemorate the success of Operation Sindoor, this event aims to showcase solidarity with the Indian armed forces.
Addressing the media, Ashoka revealed that the yatra will kick off in Bengaluru on May 15, proceeding through major cities. It will lack any party-specific insignia, offering an inclusive environment for all citizens.
During the announcement, Ashoka urged the Congress to support the armed forces instead of engaging in political maneuvering, emphasizing the necessity of national unity amidst international tensions.
