Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraaj party, has called on the people of Bihar to back a new political alternative in the upcoming state assembly elections. Speaking at a gathering in the Jhanjharpur area of Madhubani district, Kishor emphasized that the state has experienced governance under Lalu Yadav, PM Modi, and Nitish Kumar, and now deserves a government driven by the people.

Addressing the crowd, Kishor stated, "I am not merely asking for votes; over the past 2.5 years, I have travelled to five thousand villages, connecting with individuals to establish Jan Suraaj. The time has come for a people's rule in Bihar after experiencing decades of leadership from established political figures."

Kishor also criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Janata Dal (United) for fostering poverty and corruption over the past 30 years. He accused them of focusing solely on family gains and divisive politics. As Bihar anticipates elections later this year, the NDA and INDIA bloc parties are set to contend for power amidst a backdrop of significant political shifts.
