Sonia Gandhi, the Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson, has been reported as stable after being admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital due to a stomach-related issue. An official statement released on Monday provided this update, indicating that the doctors are keeping a vigilant eye on her condition.
The 78-year-old leader was hospitalized on Sunday evening under the care of the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology. Dr. Ajay Swaroop, the hospital's chairman, confirmed her stable condition, highlighting the ongoing medical supervision.
Just a few days prior, Gandhi underwent medical check-ups at the same hospital and had also undergone tests at the Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla following complaints of high blood pressure.
