The Indian government has pledged to protect its citizens in Iran following a tense situation due to military strikes. BJP leader Ravinder Raina confirmed on Monday that necessary measures are in place to ensure the safe return of students and businessmen from Jammu and Kashmir.
Raina emphasized the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the welfare of Indians abroad. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is actively engaging with Iranian authorities. The Indian High Commission is also prioritizing the safety of those stranded in Iran, taking proactive steps should evacuation become necessary.
The recent Operation Rising Lion, launched by Israel against Iran's military assets, has heightened the need for caution among Indian nationals. As a result, these individuals are advised to stay connected with the Indian Embassy in Tehran for urgent updates and instructions.
