In a strategic move, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis urged BJP workers on Monday to ensure the party's triumph in the upcoming Vasai-Virar civic polls, stressing the area's deficit in civic amenities despite accelerated urban growth.
Fadnavis, affectionately known by party members as Devabhau, emphasized the importance of diligent work, noting that mere slogans won't suffice to win control over the Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation.
Addressing a crowd at the opening of BJP MLA Sheha Pandit-Dubey's 'sampark karyalaya', he pointed out that several areas still resemble rural villages due to insufficiently planned urban development.
