Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh has announced that his party will contest the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, which are due later this year. Speaking to reporters in the state capital, Singh revealed that the central leadership will soon decide on the specific seats to contest.
This decision is part of AAP's strategy to challenge the BJP, which they accuse of mistreating migrants from Bihar and Purvanchal by demolishing slums in Delhi. Singh called on the people of Bihar to oppose the BJP's policies.
AAP's entry into the Bihar election scene adds a new dimension to the forthcoming clash, primarily expected to be between the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan. The Jan Suraaj Party, led by Prashant Kishor, is also in the fray, potentially complicating matters for the established alliances.
