Pro-Palestinian Activists Vandalize UK Military Assets: A Bold Message or Criminal Act?

In a daring act of protest, pro-Palestinian activists claimed responsibility for vandalizing two Royal Air Force (RAF) planes at Brize Norton with red paint. The incident, which occurred last Wednesday, has sparked a police investigation.

According to Palestine Action, two members infiltrated the base using electric scooters. They targeted Voyager jets employed for air refueling operations, using repurposed fire extinguishers to spray red paint on turbine engines and further damaging the aircraft with crowbars.

The UK Ministry of Defence decried the act as vandalism against national military assets, while Palestine Action described it as a stand against Britain's alleged complicity in Middle Eastern conflicts. Thames Valley Police are collaborating with Ministry of Defence Police to identify and apprehend the offenders.
