In the wake of a US assault on Iranian nuclear infrastructure, Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, declared diplomacy ineffective as a solution. Addressing journalists in Istanbul, he stressed the impracticality of diplomatic efforts under current circumstances.
Araghchi remarked that while diplomacy should perpetually be an available avenue, the situation has rendered it an unfeasible approach. The foreign minister's comments come amidst heightened tensions between the two nations.
This marks another setback in Iran-US relations, as diplomatic channels appear closed for the foreseeable future according to Araghchi's recent assertions.
