Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sanjeev Arora emerged as the frontrunner in the Ludhiana West assembly bypolls, gaining a lead of 3,060 votes over his closest competitor, BJP nominee Jiwan Gupta. According to initial trends, Arora had secured 8,277 votes after three rounds of counting, surpassing Gupta's 5,217.

Despite Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu showing early promise by positioning ahead of Gupta in the first two rounds, he fell to third place with 5,094 votes. Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal's Parupkar Singh Ghuman lingered in fourth position, securing 2,575 votes. A total of 14 candidates vied for the seat.
