Escalating Tensions: China Criticizes U.S. Strike on Iran's Nuclear Facilities
China criticized the U.S. attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, warning it damaged Washington's credibility and could lead to a loss of control. China called for restraint and proposed a ceasefire resolution with Russia and Pakistan at the U.N. Security Council meeting. Chinese evacuations in the region have been successfully conducted.

China has condemned the recent U.S. military attack on Iran's nuclear sites, stating that it has damaged Washington's international credibility and could escalate tensions out of control, according to the state broadcaster CCTV.
During a U.N. Security Council meeting on Sunday, President Donald Trump announced the obliteration of Tehran's key nuclear sites, marking the most significant Western military intervention in Iran since its 1979 revolution. The meeting saw Russia, China, and Pakistan push for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in the Middle East.
Chinese Ambassador to the U.N., Fu Cong, urged all involved parties, particularly Israel, to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could exacerbate conflicts. Meanwhile, the Chinese government has successfully evacuated over 3,125 citizens from the region, ensuring their safety amid the growing turmoil.
