Russia is enhancing its military capabilities by escalating the production of its Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile complex, as stated by President Vladimir Putin on Monday.

The announcement was made during a televised address to military cadets, where Putin praised the missile's successful performance in combat scenarios.

As tensions persist in the region, Russia has already deployed these missiles against Ukraine, with future plans to station them in Belarus by mid-2025.
